This year, for the first time, OWCC players are available for sponsorship. For £500 you can sponsor one of the OWCC players for an entire season. Anytime your sponsored player gets 3 wickets, a score of 50 or above, or a man of the match performance, OWCC will post a message across all social media including your business social media handles. There will be a post announcing the sponsorship containing your logo across all of our social media channels, and every two weeks your sponsored player will promote you to their own personal network through a social media post tagging your business thanking you for your support. We have a number of top quality players available for sponsorship across the entire club, please contact 1st XI captain Johnno Gordon for more details on who is still available.

Sponsored Players - 2020

Sushant Marathe - Sponsored by Wellesley Wealth Advisory

Two years of pain having to play against this man have come to an end as our dream of adding him to the squad has finally come true. Having spent 4 years playing for The Mumbai Indians in The IPL, and also having represented the Indian national Under 17 and Under 19 sides, it is easy to understand why Sushant is such a huge addition to the club. Finishing last season as the divisions leading run scorer with 796 at an average of over 61, our start to life in Division 2 will be a much better experience with this man in our side.

Clint McCabe - Sponsored by The Event Collective

Joining OWCC in 2019, Clint made a huge impression in his first season, taking 50 league wickets and scoring over 300 runs at an average of over 25. His left arm spin was one of the main reasons the 1st XI achieved promotion last season, and we are excited to see him excel again in 2020 as we look to push towards Division 1.

Johnno Gordon - Sponsored by Wellesley Wealth Advisory

Johnno is bringing up his 5th season as 1st XI skipper in 2020 and with last years promotion is incredibly excited about the season ahead. Having had a strong year with both bat and ball in all 5 years with the club, last year was undoubtedly his best, with 42 league wickets and 416 runs @ 34.67. With a number of fantastic new additions to the squad he is looking forward to all OWCC sides pushing for promotion in 2020.
